Who we are

Explain Tools is operated by Digital Tactics Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 07666910, registered office Ground Floor, 19 New Road, Brighton, East Sussex BN1 1UF. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, number Z2807798. When this notice says "we" or "us", it means Digital Tactics Ltd.

What this site collects

Nothing that we use to identify you. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, has no forms and loads nothing from any other website: its pages, styles, fonts and images all come from explaintools.com.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare receives the technical details of each request, including your IP address, in order to deliver the page and protect the site from attack. We do not use that information to track you.

If you email us

If you email support@, sales@ or legal@explaintools.com, we use your address and what you write to reply to you, and keep it for as long as we need to deal with your query and any records that UK accounting and tax law requires. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps you have asked us to take before or under a contract.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email legal@explaintools.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
